Welcome to FencingBuddies.com ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms govern your access to and use of the FencingBuddies.com platform.

2. Services Description

FencingBuddies.com provides a platform for:

• Fencers to track and manage their training activities
• Track and analyze bout performances
• Maintain records of opponents and competition history
• Submit videos for coach review
• Receive feedback from qualified coaches
• Coaches to review and provide feedback on fencer training and videos
• Manage their fencing students' progress
• Communicate with their students regarding training

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

• You must be at least 13 years old to create your own account.
• For fencers under 13 years old, a parent or legal guardian must create and manage the account.
• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.

3.2 Account Types

• Fencer accounts: For individual fencers (13 and older) to track their training and progress.
• Parent accounts: For parents/guardians managing accounts of fencers under 13 years old.
• Coach accounts: For qualified fencing coaches to review and provide feedback.

3.3 Parent/Guardian Accounts

• Parents/guardians must create accounts using their own information when registering for fencers under 13.
• Parent accounts will be linked to their child’s fencing profile.
• Parents are responsible for all account activities and ensuring compliance with these terms.
• Parents must maintain the confidentiality of their login credentials.
• When the child turns 13, they may be eligible to create their own account, subject to our transition policies.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually based on the plan selected. Payments are processed via a secure third-party provider. Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled before the end of the billing cycle.

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription anytime from your account settings. Upon cancellation, access to paid features will continue until the end of the current billing cycle.

Refunds

We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods or unused features. Exceptions may be made under extenuating circumstances and are handled on a case-by-case basis.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service in a lawful manner and not to:

• Upload or share offensive, abusive, or harmful content.
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
• Attempt to disrupt or hack the platform.

6. Intellectual Property

8. Termination

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, FencingBuddies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Service.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
